THE SEED 🌰 A party like no other

Last year at BOHEMIA, many of you shared your intentions for the New Year in the Intention Tree (hosted by one of our beloved partners, Modern Psychedelics).

To “make meaningful relationships”, “connect with myself”, and “let go” were common themes.

BOHEMIA was a seedbed for these intentions to grow. Watching you be so free and connected was deeply inspiring. Our mission became to create art that cultivates that experience.

THE SOIL 🌎 A foundation built on truth, harmony and transcendence

Since you planted these seeds, we want you to be involved in the growing process. That means being transparent about our direction and decisions. This is so important to us that when we were crafting our brand, one of the three values we chose was truth.

THE DROUGHT 🌵Creative energy tapped out

Creating immersive events like BOHEMIA is an incredibly involved process. We care deeply about every single aspect of what we do, so when we are organizing an event, nothing else exists.

If event planning was our focus, this would not be a problem. But it isn’t. Although multi-faceted, everyone on our team is a musician. We started this collective because our favourite thing is to make music and to play it for you. Event planning became our full-time job on top of our day jobs, and music fell by the wayside.

THE SHOWERS🌧 Refocusing, refuelling

After BOHEMIA, we realized that, although we co-created something incredible, we needed to re-evaluate our focus. So we dedicated the first quarter of 2023 to developing a business model that allowed us to focus on music while continuing to foster the rich and connected community that surrounded us. From the seedbed of BOHEMIA, BOHEMIA MUSIC GROUP was born.

THE BUD 🌱 A new project is born

BOHEMIA MUSIC GROUP is an artist-run music label that welcomes the community into the creative process and gives them the opportunity to benefit from the success of the art.

We have an incredible roadmap ahead of us, full of experiential, educational, and financial incentives for our community. We want to share it all with you, but in service of brevity, I’ll share the main focus of 2023 now and the rest of the roadmap later.

THE FLOWERS 🌻 Share the bounty, revel in the beauty

Our main goal this year is to create original music and share it with the world both digitally and in real life. To achieve this, we’ll focus on:

i. BOHEMIA CONCERT SERIES

This is a series of intimate gatherings lasting anywhere from 1-4 days where the focus is co-creation of a live, improvised music and art experience.

Who can come to these?

Anyone who loves music, nature, holistic activities, and connecting deeply with other purpose-driven humans.

If you’ve been to one of our jams, you know how special and unique this experience is. Bohemia Concert Series is the evolution of the original jam session. These sessions will be recorded and released on the BOHEMIA MUSIC GROUP YouTube channel, Spotify, and Apple Podcast.

Admission for these will be very limited as they’ll take place in cottages around Ontario. Our Discord community will be the first to know when spots open up.

Educational Opportunities

Musicians and DJs (both practicing and aspiring) are welcome to come learn from and with us. We’ll have dedicated slots for music production and live performance Q&As.

Artist Scholarship Opportunites

We’ll have a very limited number of scholarships for sound, performance, and visual artists who want to contribute their art. Interested artists will need to submit an application for consideration. Applications will be sent via Discord.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We are able to provide our community with these opportunities and support the arts in Canada with the help of our sponsors. If you have a company you think is aligned with our goals and values, please reach out to us to inquire about sponsorship opportunities.

Monetization Opportunities

In our quest to bring value back to the community, we are launching our first monetization opportunity. If you make a warm introduction to a company that results in a sponsorship deal, we’ll send 10% of profits your way.

ii. THE BOHEMIA EXPERIENCE

A 6-8 hour long journey in which the artists of BOHEMIA MUSIC GROUP curate a line-up of music and art that ranges from downtempo improvised music to high-energy organic DJ sets. Our group plays back-to-back blending live instruments and visual performance throughout.

Booking Opportunities

We have limited availability for events this year. If you are an event coordinator at a company that is aligned with our goals and values, please reach out to inquire about bookings.

Monetization Opportunities

Similar to the BOHEMIA CONCERT SERIES monetization opportunity, if you make a warm introduction that results in a booking, we’ll send 10% of profits your way.
