Dear Bohemians,

Our dear friend and artist Dante is releasing his debut Bohemia mix today.

The story behind it is a dream we all know, though none of us have dreamt it. But if I tell you of the artist and his muse, you feel something curved and delicate break in your chest. I have told you nothing of them. You know nothing of their love or their pain. Yet, you feel it.

The lovers lived many lifetimes here on Earth. Their backs on the desert floor, grasslands, white hills. But humanity became flooded with greed, and God presented a challenge: the muse incarnated as spirit, the artist as human.

In spirit form, the muse could see her love. She remembered all their lifetimes together.

But the artist’s memory was wiped. He did not remember their lifetimes together. And, maybe the greatest challenge of all, God left the feeling of her inside him. So he roamed the Earth. Empty. Searching.

She communicated with him through dreams and inspiration.

And when inspired, he felt her presence.
The music he made, an ode to the love he felt, but couldn’t touch.

Swoon in Samsara is a combination of pre-existing songs and live instrumentals. Many of the vocals, guitar, piano and shakers you hear were recorded live by Dante.
